Introduction:
In the pursuit of creating an exceptional passenger experience at the new Kansas City Airport (KCI), Dimensional Innovations turned to Phosphor Studio for audio production and our production stage.
Project:
Gain peace of mind and soar with confidence as Kansas City Air Travel Experience takes flight. This lifelike, tech-heavy simulation, housed within a decommissioned Airbus A321 fuselage, provides a true-to-life flying experience. This innovative project aims to ease the fears of anxious passengers and create a familiar environment for future flights.
Challenge:
Capture audio from filming in the main production studio, record voiceovers in the vocal booth, and design immersive soundscapes for the 15-minute simulation.
Solution:
With a passion for perfection, Royce, the studio’s lead audio engineer recorded audio from actual flights and crafted sound design elements to create a truly immersive flying experience. Months of collaboration between DI, their clients, and the Phosphor Studio team culminated in the successful completion of a one of a kind audio-immersive experience.
Benefit:
By having all the necessary production elements under one roof, Phosphor Studio enabled DI to save time and avoid the hassle of porting assets from one studio to another. With a long-standing working relationship between the two, the production and post-production processes flowed seamlessly, ensuring timely delivery.
Result:
Phosphor Studio’s collaboration with DI highlights not only the studio’s cutting-edge tools and expert team but also their unwavering commitment to an excellence production.
Conclusion:
From the immersive soundscapes to the captivating visuals, this simulation elevates the airport experience and leaves a lasting impression on travelers.
