How It Works
Step 1 – Prepare & Upload
Gather your files and stems
To mix your song in Atmos, we need it broken out into all of its different parts or “stems.” A stem can be delivered a couple ways. As a mono track without stereo effects like delay, reverb or stereo with effects or both. We’ll also need your stereo master to use alongside the stems for reference.
We’ll send you a more detailed onboarding email that gets into all the nitty gritty about the different ways and advantages that go into delivering stems for Atmos.
STEP 2 – Production
Production Workflow – What to Expect
Verification
After receiving your tracks, we audition for sonic quality, compatibility and relation to the stereo master. We also assess the scope of the project as it pertains to your job requirements. We then outline and estimate a completion timeline for you to sign off on.
Rough Mix
We’ll notify you when the initial mix is ready for your review, and deliver a binaural print and an MP4 file for review on headphones and consumer ATMOS systems. We then wait for your feedback and sign off.
Revision
After receiving your feedback and your sign off to continue, we’ll provide a timeline to complete your project to achieve the desired mix.
STEP 3 – Delivery
Your ATMOS mix deliverables
Final Mix
When the final mix is complete, we promptly inform you, deliver another binaural print and MP4 file for review and remain available for any questions or final tweaks to ensure satisfaction.
Review and Approve
After your final mix is signed off on because you’re happy with your mix, we’ll collect all associated fees.
File Delivery
After we have received payment, we will deliver:
- 48k ADM BWF master file for delivery to streaming services
- 96k binaural reference file for listening on headphones
- MP4 reference file for listening on consumer ATMOS systems

Apple Music
Pretty much any Apple device that can stream Apple Music can stream Dolby Atmos as well. iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple HomePods all stream Atmos. Even the Apple Music app on Android devices can play Dolby Atmos!
TIDAL
iOS, Android, TVs, soundbars and vehicles can all stream Atmos with the Tidal app. Tidal also has the advantage of detailed credits. Our music distribution add on makes sure that anyone else that works on your project is properly credited.
Amazon Music
With Amazon Music Unlimited you can stream Atmos on all mobile devices compatible with the app. Dolby Atmos is fully supported on headphones with Amazon Music Unlimited and supported on select Alexa Cast devices like the Echo Studio.
